how to get better technically

hi all, I'm an incoming analyst at an eb. Feel like the standard is pretty high here, and while I'm pretty good at a lot of aspects of the job (timeliness, attention to detail, formatting, etc.), I feel like my technical ability could definitely be improved. I just got lunch with some of my other analysts, and they seem to be super sharp - I felt like I didn't even understand what they were talking about some of the times. What's a good way to improve my techincal knowledge and ability?
