how to impress my MD?

my MD gave me a name of a company that I will be covering for a deal. we are supposed to meet on Monday to talk it out. how can I get a head-start and impress? help me out. I already got research in hand. thanks

Learn the business model (revenue streams, revenue and cost drivers, etc.) and industry they are in. Look at research reports and see what the general market view is on their (and industry) performance. Go through google news to see if there have been any material events (like c-levels leaving, scandals, etc.)

This should be enough to get a foundation and impress your MD by showing that you have done your (basic) HW.
