How to keep in touch with people at other banks who helped you?
I had some really helpful networking calls the past couple of years with alumni at various banks, and now that I've about to start my SA, I feel bad that I haven't really kept in touch. I'm really thankful for the advice they gave me, and I'd like to stay in touch despite not ending up at the same bank. Any tips for how I could reach out and just say hi again out of the blue without it being weird?
You can send them a news article that relates to something you’ve discussed - or is just plain interesting. Close with a remark about how you’d love to catch up sometime soon.
Hmm that could work I guess, but it would seem a little unnatural in my case.
just email them and let them know where you landed. say "thank you" and let them know you'd like to return the favor someday. be sincere.
