How to lateral to IB for FT?

I transferred into a target last fall and struck out in getting an IB SA gig for this summer. I ended receiving and signing an offer to join a EB/MM in one of their front office roles but not IB. I'm sure I want to do IB when I graduate, so what would be the best approach to network my way to a FT IB  analyst role. Ik recruiting for FT is tough bc most banks just give return offers to their SA and there maybe only a couple spots left open, so my goal is to network so much that if there are a couple spots open that need to be filled, my name is considered for one of them.

I complied a massive list of 100+ alums who work in IB, but should I start reaching out to them now, or maybe wait a little later or more towards the summer or even during my internship because most ppl are prolly being spammed by kids looking to recruit for SA right about now? Or could I use the fact that I'm a transfer as an excuse to send emails to them now because I'm looking to expand my network of alums or something along those lines? Also, for this kind of transition would it be best to reach out to mostly analysts/associates because they'll maybe be more involved in FT recruiting or does it not really matter tbh and it's best to connect with as many people as possible.

Thanks boys.
