How to lateral to NYC
At a B tier bank in a B tier city doing coverage.
I've enjoyed working with my group, but if I were presented with the opportunity to work in NYC, it would be hard to pass up.
I've been able to network with folks at other banks in my current city and will likely be able to interview with multiple banks there for a full time spot if I wanted to.
When it comes to networking with people in NYC, I've had barely any luck. Ideally I would lateral to an A or B tier bank, in 1 of 4 groups I've narrowed it down to. However, I'm just not able to get the same traction I've had for my current city and the calls I have had weren't with any of the groups I want to recruit for so they haven't been particularly helpful.
Would appreciate any advice on tackling this.
