How to leverage application with no experience

Hi everyone, I am going into my sophomore year of college at UBC Sauder School of Business. I am trying to decide what path to take, as I haven’t really been drawn to anything specific. I’ve decided to major in finance for sure, but I’d like to double major in something like operations. I’d love to hear thoughts on this. Along with this looking for summer 2026 internships has been a challenge. I don’t have any leverage to get past the resume portion of the application process,as I have no projects, relative job experience, clubs, etc. What can I be doing throughout this school year that may give me a bit more leverage when applying (I’d like to apply for roles within VC, wealth management, IB, or anything business related in tech- I clearly have no knowledge of the industries though and am struggling to get started looking into them). Thanks!

There was an earlier thread on how someone got caught using this shitty chatgpt copy and got blacklisted from a bank or something
