How to Make the Most of Your Second Year?

Hey everyone. I just finished up my first year at an EB and am fortunate enough to have a PE offer for summer 2021 start. Throughout my first year I've had the chance to work on a variety of deals/projects (having announced deals in both buyside and sellside M&A), which has allowed me to better understand both the technical and process side of transactions. Given the current and potential pipeline of projects coming to our group in the near-term, it seems like the learning curve will flatten significantly in the coming months (due to repetition, not lack of dealflow).

For those that have been through it before, what is the best way to make the most of your second year in banking and stay sharp on the learning/improving front? I fully understand the importance of getting additional reps in, but how could someone in my shoes maximize the value of the second year in a way that focuses on the skills needed for joining a PE firm as an associate in one year?

Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you!
