How to screen AM companies by their fund performance?
Hey guys,
For school project I’m trying to compare large asset managers by their mutual fund /ETF performance - ie, I’d like to compare TROW, Legg Mason, Invesco, etc’s fund performances by equity vs. fixed income vs. alternatives and see which asset managers are “good” at their job by asset type. What’s the best way to achieve this? I thought Morningstar would have data on this but I can’t seem to download any of their detailed data to excel.
Ideally if I had a list of every fund (or almost all) with AUM, asset type, performance data and underlying manager this would be a breeze.
Thank you!!
