How to structure " walk me through a recent deal you've been following" answer

Tips on how to structure " walk me through a recent deal you've been following" answer?

I don't want to:

1. Ramble

2. Leave out the most relevant figures, and I don't want to

3. Open the doors to more unnecessary technicals with this answer

Any help appreciated, thanks.

talk about the major players (just introduce them)

the follow ups are manageable, and they aren't expecting you to know it as well as them, they want to see if you actually did your homework
