How will Coronavirus impact future recruitment

It looks as though we have entered a global recession and that banks are having a tough time coping with the effects of the virus. If worst comes to worst and there is a financial crisis, should I worry at all about an impact on the future levels of recruitment into investment banking as someone going to uni next year? Is it likely that there will be a big change? What was the impact of the last financial crash on the level of recruitment?

Honestly, how should anyone know? What do you expect us to say? You are just starting Uni next year and already worry about that. You need to calm down lol.
