I fall asleep during the day SO easily when tired. Solutions?

I am THE WORST at staying awake when tired. During high school and college, I'd doze off after lunch without fail during class if I didn't sleep well the night before. But still, all I needed was ~10 minutes of closing my eyes and I would be almost completely rejuvenated.

Is there any way to sneakily take a brief nap during the day once the actual job starts? What are some good ways to combat drowsiness? I've tried coffee in the past but never noticed any effect. Maybe I didn't drink enough then.

Any tips and tricks will be appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately working in a sleep deprived industry there aren't going to be any silver-lining situations. Below is what I did to get through my analyst years, a lot of this is sort of a no-brainer but still putting it out incase it helps.

1) Drink water

2) Walk Outside - A 10-15 min walk outside to grab coffee (even if you don't drink it) with other analysts/juniors helps since you're able to move around a bit and get some fresh air/sunlight

3) Nap - I wouldn't recommend doing this as it could potentially create a bad habit but find an empty conference room/private room and take a 10 min nap

4) Chew Gum - Honestly not sure how true this is but supposedly works to keep you alert and helped for me (could be placebo)

Just an intern but have a similar problem even if I sleep 8 hours and I've found that chewing gum / getting up and walking even if it's just to fill up your water bottle will help.
