I got rejected for a position I didnt even apply for.

Recently received an email saying thank you for interviewing, but we cannot offer you a position etc etc... The problem is... I never interviewed for the position. Should I be worried or should i just disregard this?

Maybe you applied for something else but they considered you for another job. Maybe someone passed your resume to the firm. If you can't think of a way they might have gotten your info...then give them a call, for curiosity's sake

I applied/ interviewed me before but they rejected me (for the position). Then about a month later I got an email offering me another interview, but they never got back to me about the time, so I never interviewed. Then I get the email saying I was rejected and thanking me for interviewing.

Well HR ppl are kind of slow at times. I was hired by a firm and as i was half of the summer into it, they sent me a rejection for another position i applied.
