Bizarre thread. Sounds like you did fine and the founder was just busy.
The smaller the company, the more unlikely is the situation compared to a "standard" corporate setting. I have met really smart founders, people who could win over VCs and with excellent technology. This doesn't mean they know how to interview someone or how to manage staff.
Maybe this dude was busy, nervous or inexperienced with interviews.
I think that they would probably have better things to do than get coffee with you if they thought so negatively of you.
It’s just that during the interview the reception I was getting was negative so I guess that’s why I’m confused.

You are doing yourself way more harm than good with this level of stress. You are going to have to deal with much more ambiguous and stressful situations on a job, so I recommend working on this and trying to work through those anxieties in a good way. Two things:
1) a company doesn’t want to waste their time on a candidate that they thought lied - why waste your time?
2) usually people don’t tell you they want to interview you again and that the interviewers liked you if that isn’t true
You need to chill out.
Even HR would automatically ding you if they found out you were lying. Let alone if he is a founder and influential in that space, he wouldn't waste his time trying to see if some random college student was lying about his experience. Odds are you're reading too far into it
