I simply ... don’t give a fuck about this job anymore

This may be horrible to say.. but as a burnt out first year who was very type A and high achieving, I find myself caring so little about the job now.

I obviously do the work, but in terms of struggling to figure shit out vs just texting my associate, pushing back, and not  triple checking every last formatting detail before sending to assoc (would not do this for a client) I don’t really care. This job has zapped away my ambition. Anyone else feel the same? Am I horrible employee? My mid year reviews were decent and I’m not bombing anything but I just don’t know if this is normal or not.

Natural burn-out. You need to figure out quickly what you want to do post-IB and focus your sights on that. If it's buy-side it's more or less the same. If industry, you need to start reaching out to contacts there to see what's available / suitable. That's the best way I found to cope through last few months of IB when i was an analyst

same here but it's pretty normal - i've been this way for the past 2 months and my reviews were actually really good lol

as long as no major fuck ups i feel like reviews will always come back pretty decent
