IB Bonus Levels - London Based
We've all seen recent (non saying last 2 periods) IB bonuses reaching up to 100% of base salary at some BB most exposed teams - or averaging at c.+£40k for an A1
Should we expect this to be structural given the ongoing shift towards buyside and poor WLB (cf. GS pole) or is this purely related to the Covid situation and a one off effort from banks?
Hey Ylrach, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I am sad to say, but this thread is lonely, so thought I'd post in here to try and help out. Some potential topics that might help:

BUMP
I would expect A1 bonuses to remain at £50k this year given the salary bump, that’s £120k all in. Anything more would be outrageous but you never know
Bonuses should be different between BBs given:
1) Difference in base salary: If im not wrong only GS and MS pay 70k, whilst JP, BofA and Citi lag behind. This should yield higher bonuses to the latters.
2) Performance: GS and JP have outperformed the rest of the US banks, hence you should expect a higher bonus
3) US BB vs EU BB
All in all, 110-130k should be feasible
