IB or Consulting for Tech PM?
Tech PM is the ultimate end goal for me. Should I recruit for IB or consulting to best set myself up? Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

Neither, but easier from consulting (if not direct, typical consulting exits into BizOps / product ops / S&O also better for internal rotationinto PM)
Directly recruit for that or be an engineer.
Go into SWE, and transition into PM. Getting into PM without a technical undergrad/development experience is difficult
If I have no tech/software/eng. background, would it be easier to go into Tech IB or MBB to lateral into being a FAANG-type (also Microsoft, Uber, Lyft, Airbnb, etc. etc.) PM role down the line? I'm leaning consulting atm.
