Not exactly common but it does happen. PJT RX has several folks who did that as do a few other top groups. I can't imagine you'd have much trouble transitioning back and you'd be light years ahead of your associate class.
Of course. Some ppl don't like the DD part of PE and like the sales, etc nature of IB.
