IB Reject turned Stripper

This summer as a SA being freshly 21 some of the interns and I decided to hit a strip club after a long night out. We enter the club and the ladies there were pretty fine, honestly like 8+. Were chillin having a good time when this one girl starts chatting me up a little and mentions she’s entering her final year of college. This got my attention immediately as most other women in this joint looked at least 25.

After she gets done doing a set on stage (and after me throwing my hourly on her ass) I ask for a private dance and we go to the back. I never really minded a little chit chat in the back so we’re talking about ourselves a little bit. I find out she’s in a sorority at a large, well known public university within a 100 mile radius of the city. On top of that, she is also a finance major. I thought I had found my wife

Now it was my turn. I tell her I go to a school on the opposite coast, doing an IB internship, yada yada yada… and she goes, “oh you do ib? I recruited this recent cycle and didn’t get an offer”. After telling her “oh that’s ok try again next year for FT” she said “I don’t think I will… I’ve made 50k this summer already”

Dance was great, she was even finer, but I share this story because I learned that evening that there are indeed other career paths that probably yield similar income as IB. I love money

I met a stripper in finance. She was a triathlete too. We had a bet (just pride, no money) on who would win the NYC 5th Ave mile. We were both trying to break 5, but it didn't happen and I got 5:19 and bet her by 6 seconds.
