How is IB restructuring different from consulting restructuring? I assume the consultants enlist the help of the bankers when they're on the job for financial work but how does their actual relationship and division of responsibility work? Thanks!

I believe consulting restructuring is less financial work and more "brand work". Maybe they help the company rebrand, figure out how many employees they need, which line of products to keep. I think they basically help the company "go forward" during/after restructuring.
