IBD and relationship

My girlfriend is works at a top IBD group of a BB (MS/JPM/GS) and work hours are horrible. This is slowly killing our relationship. How sustainable is having an GF working long hours? My outlook on our relationship is horrible and we will likely breakup very soon unless, curious to hear others’ experience

Your relationship was probably done the day she took the job. She's married to her bank now, and you come second. Unless you come across a boatload of money and retire her next week, or you suck it up and accept that you come second, and you're ok taking what she can give then it's pretty much a wrap.

For me, having a GF in IB is the best option. We are both super busy and understand each other’s schedules.  If I have to cancel or work, she gets it and vice versa.  We just end up spending lots of nights together and weekends. Life is always going to be busy.  If you care about her, you will find a way to make it work.

Your relationship is over brother… she is going to start dating a 45-year old MD here soon and start posting pictures on his yacht in St. Barths. It is inevitable. But one day you will make MD and start dating your analyst as well and take awkward pictures of her at Nikki Beach Miami to send to your friends and the circle of life will be complete. Trust the process.

Lol in before the feminists start talking about being "boss babes." Guys do not want a career woman. Masculine, type A women are not fun to be in relationships with. Nobody cares about a woman's ability to make money

Impossibly based. Men and women are equal and they each bring unique things to the table to preface but the man's market value comes from making great money, being masculine / assertive, and being funny

It's always hilarious when some angry Feminazi thinks men should want Type-A women who are funnier & have more testosterone than them. Makes 0 logical sense

Yeah I would also add being muscular for men, but you got it spot on. Feminazis/feminists are hilarious. They think just because they want a man who can provide security and be masculine, that men also want the same thing. We don't. We want feminine women who are submissive (this doesn't mean being a slave but just not argumentative), attractive, and fit. Don't be embarrassing and be a peaceful person to be around. Also don't be for the streets and fuck loads of dudes. Men are so simple, but women still haven't understood us. We don't give a fuck how much money they make because we get that on our own
