IBD for Boutique firm in London vs. Tier 1 in Asia
Hi I'm a second year student at university in the UK and am applying for my final summer internships. I managed to get positions for IBD with Lazard in London, DB in HK and CS in Singapore. I'm not really sure which to pick; any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Also is it difficult to enter the bulge brackets via lateral hire? Thanks
Where would you rather live? Brixton, Tin Shui Wai, or Ang Mo Kio?
For what it's worth, Lazard is very well rated in London (and their offices are very nice).
DB in HK is supposedly a sweatshop (all work and pretty serious place), CS isn't very strong in Singapore (relative to Europe) - JPM and MS are still the places to be for IBD in South East Asia.
