IBD policy on options, futures, and oversea stock accounts
I just graduated from college and started IBD. Back in school, I traded stocks, options, and I have oversea account (I'm International). I'm a profitable chart trader and I enjoy it. But I want banking as my career and trading as side income. I know the compliance and 30-day holding period issue, so pattern day trading U.S. stocks is not practical. My question is: Do I have restrictions in trading (1) U.S. stock options, (2) commodity futures, and (3) anything in my oversea account? If so, to what extent would I be monitored?
