IBD: Project Finance vs Financial Sponsors

Currently have 2 job offers, to work within the Financial Sponsors group of a major bank or the Project Finance ibd group of another. I’d like to know which would be the best option (pros and cons) especially in regards to pay (bonus), modeling opportunities and exit opportunities. I’m trying to avoid being pigeonholed.

I’m in a Sponsors group. Without more detail, 100p should take Sponsors. Project Finance is very different and if you’re unsure the FSG should show you all products/sectors.

I was recently on a PF deal, and it’s just very different than what most people think of when they say “investment banking”. Not that PF isn’t good, it’s just different especially if you don’t have a strong interest in the space.
