Fundraiser for Green Beret / BofA Associate
I wanted to leave his name out of the title to respect the privacy of the family (so hopefully this doesn’t get taken down) but I came across a fundraiser for the associate’s family. This is through the veterans’ organization he was an active member of, so I can’t imagine a better way to show your support for the family. Let’s come together to show our gratitude for his service!

Can confirm the link is legit. Saw it on Twitter from the account of a former Army Special Operations person, with a semi large following.

Horribly, the motto of the Green Berets, which the brother has posted, is 'de oppresso liber' - meaning "To free the oppressed." How awfully fitting.

The picture shows he has two kids + wife. Not sure if they're able to receive army pension, healthcare, etc. plus losing presumably the main breadwinner salary.
I don’t think you understand the cost of losing a primary breadwinner. He didn’t die in combat so they might’ve not even had a civilian life insurance policy set up. 1 million is probably not enough to provide what he could’ve to his family.
