We're getting resumes in for summer internships, and I swear the number of otherwise decent resumes that list stupid minors like "Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies," "Ethnic Studies," "Social and Environmental Justice," etc...I'm here to tell you your resume is going straight into the trash. If we can guess your political affiliations, can guess your synthetic hair color or how many facial piercings you have, you are doing yourself a huge disservice. This is the real world now, leave that stupidity for Reddit.
