Imbalancing B/S on LBO Test
Hi Monkeys,
Went through an LBO modelling test, which required me to make S&U table, Purchase Price Allocation, Closing B/S, Forecast I/S, B/S, CFS, Debt Schedule and Returns Calculations in 60 minutes. Everything worked fine except for the forecasted B/S where from 2nd year of forecast I got a balancing issue.
I tried finding the mistake, but run out of time. Since imbalanced started in 2nd year of the forecast think it might be an issue of missing $$ in one of the B/S formulas (Cash Flow was fine as I checked it entirely). Otherwise the 1st year of forecast would also be off, right?
Given that the closing B/S and other parts of the model were mechanically correct, do you think they might be fine with it, or it is an immediate dinge?
