Impressive offers

Met this guy through a good friend of mine. He graduated wharton last year, and got full-time offers from Blackstone PE, Citadel, Bain Capital, Lazard, Goldman Sachs TMT, and some more that i'm forgetting. probably the most impressive offer list of anyone i know.

MoneyKingdomThis cannot be true. Goldman does not assign their groups until all offers have been accepted.

This is true for summer internships, but i thought that for full time, they tell you what group you got when you are given the offer?

They do give out group-specific offers. It's certainly not as common, but I know several people who received them. From what I understand, however, this is significantly more frequent for full-time over intern recruiting.
