Incoming Sophomore Biomedical Engineer Pursuing IB

I'm an incoming sophomore at a semi-target/target (UT) studying Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Economics. I got into one of my schools top finance orgs freshman year and was part of the inaugural cohort of my school's first restructuring/credit org. I would say that technical-wise I'm ready for the interviews as I've been studying all of summer, but one question is tripping me up: Why Investment Banking? I've come up with three ideas but I just don't know how convincing it will be to the interviewees:

  1. IB is a direct application of the problem-solving skills that I’ve developed through my background in science.
  2. I enjoy being in a fast-paced environment whether it be the varsity sports, hackathons or pitch comps i've competed in, which IB offers
  3. I honestly just don’t want to work in a lab all day to produce drugs that’ll take 15 years to get approved

What do y'all think?
