Based on the most helpful WSO content:
Withdrawals (W): A single "W" on your transcript is generally not a significant red flag, especially if you have a strong GPA otherwise. Recruiters understand that sometimes students need to withdraw from a course for various reasons.
Retaking a Course: Retaking a course can be a good strategy if you initially received a low grade. Many schools allow the new grade to replace the old one, which can help improve your GPA. However, be prepared to explain why you retook the course if asked during an interview.
Having Two B- Grades: Two B- grades are not ideal but are not necessarily deal-breakers. If your overall GPA is strong and you have other compelling aspects on your resume (internships, leadership roles, etc.), you can still be a competitive candidate.
General Advice: Focus on maintaining a strong overall GPA, gaining relevant experience through internships, and preparing thoroughly for interviews. If you have any grades that you are concerned about, be ready to explain them in a way that shows you learned and grew from the experience.
