Information on commissions for sourcing deals, anyone?

Can anyone recommend sources of information on commissions/finder's fees for sourcing deals?

I am specifically looking for information on what an analyst/associate would expect to receive for sourcing an M&A or capital raising deal to his/her employer. The deal would bring between $10-20 million in revenue to the bank.

A cap raise is usually a retainer upfront and a success fee upon completion. I believe the success fees to be around 3 points of the money raised. I believe the finders fee is dependent more on the firm than industry standards
