Informing your network about your offer
When letting your network (from other firms that helped you break into banking) know about an offer you recently received, should you mention the name of the firm where you got the offer from in your email to them? I know the answer is probably yes, but I’m slightly paranoid to disclose this as the offer means so so much to me and I don’t want it to somehow be rescinded even though there’s no reason why it would be.
Any insight would be gratefully appreciated.
If you’re really worried, just say that you landed an internship in X city.
If they ask where, tell them.
Nothing bad with mentioning the firm outright, though.
Why would a firm rescend your offer for telling your friends you're going to be working there. Is accepting a job offer a secret nowadays?
Doesn't make any sense..
you said it yourself - there’s no reason it would be
