Infra Finance & Advisory – Comp and Exit Opps?
Curious to hear from those with direct experience in Infrastructure Finance & Advisory roles, particularly within BBs, infra-focused boutiques, or platforms like Macquarie, etc.
Is it the same as project finance advisory?
How does total comp (base + bonus) stack up at junior/mid levels vs. infra M&A/infra PE or traditional IB?
How transferable is the skill set to buy-side roles?
Thanks all!

Assuming you’re referring to infrastructure advisory roles at big 4 / boutiques such as A&M, Arup etc?
If so, UK pay starts at around £40k for an analyst with a c. £15-17k bump for every promotion. Bonuses are around 15% in a good year, 0-5% in a bad year.
Thank you, I am interested in firms like JPM/Citi that havea team exclusively focused on infrastructure financing
heya mate, I’m thinking of trying to break into Infra finance and advisory at one of Citi or JP. Do you have any more colour on these teams and what they’re about, comps, exits etc?
