ING OFF CYCLE INTERNSHIP - M&A

Hi everyone!

Can somebody please elaborate on their internship interview experience with ING? ( London office )

What kind of questions are asked in the technicals?

That would be really helpful!

I also didn’t really have any knowledge of LBOs. So I quickly indicated that I didn’t have much experience with them (but understood the general idea) but I did know the other valuation techniques; comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis and DCF. After that they only asked about those and no LBO questions. But if you still have the time, I would try to prepare for LBO questions. Maybe I was just lucky

oh nice! Thank you so much! Great help! Lastly, can you pls guide as to how i should approach the question -- "why ING?" What are the key aspects I should definitely mention?
