Intern Application-Industry Analysis

As part of my application for an internship I am supposed to do an industry analysis. Where do people typically find information like market size history or future projections? I see lots of sources online, but I am not sure what is considered reputable. Also is there anywhere to see what this kind of thing should look like? The bank I am applying to also does their own industry analysis, and I am worried mine will just end up looking like a worse version of theirs.
