Intern Return Offer Qualities

In the past, have any of you been a part of a team where a "awkward" intern was given a return offer? And what percentage of return offers come from being sociable as opposed to being able to do the work / work diligently?

Have you considered that you might not have a lot of things in common with the intern? Like you don't have the same hobbies or something ? Sometimes the intern might be reluctant to share anything if he/she thinks you yourself is a bit distant?

What if one of the analysts hates you, alum from my school and he hated me as a freshman

Banks give internships with the intent to hire- meaning you have to give them a reason to write you off. Yes, that includes being stand offish- despite your work because honestly they can train anyone to do the work over time. But if the guy is a Debbie downer and always silent it’s going to be a drab working with you, hence the ding.

You don’t have be a Prince Charming Chad but if you’re the happiest sitting alone at your cubicle just doing your assignments and going about your business, you probably won’t fit in anywhere in banking.
