Has anyone successfully lateralled internally within their firm? I'm an incoming SA at an EB and hoping to lateral into the NY office after this summer. As far as I know, my coverage group has seats in both my office and NY. Any tips or advice on how to approach this? How hard is it to successfully do this? Should I start networking with NY bankers at my firm and other firms or wait until my internship ends?
