Internship Dilemma - Rising junior at non-ivy semi-target

I am a rising junior at a non-ivy semi-target, where I have a 3.9 GPA and strong extracurriculars. I'm home working a corporate finance internship this summer, and I've been networking at some of the middle market investment banks with alums. Consequently, I've actually received an offer from an elite MM boutique. The offer is for an SA position for next summer, but the deadline they gave me to accept is early this fall. My intention was to interview with the BB firms this winter, as I would like to get a sense of the Wall Street scene next summer, but I know those positions are coveted and highly competitive. At the same time, this non-NYC bank gave me a nice offer, and I am flattered at their interest in me. Any advice would be appreciated.

Take it.

Cross the bridge of BB interviews/SAs when you have them.

"After you work on Wall Street it’s a choice, would you rather work at McDonalds or on the sell-side? I would choose McDonalds over the sell-side.” - David Tepper

Take the offer and then if you get a BB offer, switch to that. You can always make up an excuse to the MM, I've done that and nothing happens especially if the two banks are in different leagues.

Thanks for the advice. Seems like the consensus is to accept, interview with BB, and take something better if it comes along. I'd hate to burn a bridge that I might need to cross again later on (i.e. if a BB SA stint doesn't land me a FT offer), but I would also hate to pass on a job that might be my only opportunity for next summer.
