Internship Interview
Through cold calling I scored an interview this wednesday at boutique bank in NYC. I'd be interviewing for an M&A intern position. I'm meeting with an MD on wednesday at their office then out to lunch for an interview. How do I handle a lunch interview, I know formal dining etiquette and I already know what to wear, but what questions should I expect? The firm knows I'm from a nontraditional background and that I'm a bio major. What do I do? Also I was able to lineup an offseason internship at another boutique in healthcare M&A what should I expect in an offseason (December break) internship?
Seems like your doing well...Just be yourself and you should be fine....

Read M&I, make sure you know your basic accounting and just read up on recent deals.

I was thinking that, especially with an MD, I'm afraid to order soup, salad or spaghetti at risk of nailing my shirt.
Since it's crunch time I got a Barrons book on finance, one on accounting and one on reading financial statements. Hopefully that's enough prep.
pocket mba...great book....read the valuation section and i knew everything for my interview
Have your "Bio major? Then why banking?" story ready. A casual lunch interview could sway away from technicals to questions like these on your background.
Other than the why bio to banking, what areas should I study in the 4 days left? Valuation? What question will the MD throw up? Has anyone done a lunch interview?
