Interview on Thursday
Well guys, I think I did it to myself this time. In my relentless pursuit of getting into IB, I have finally broken the first barrier and gotten an interview. (Woohoo!) Problem is, I do not think I'm nearly prepared enough... Work has been an absolute b**** during the pandemic and I really didn't expect to hear back from any job so I have not prepared at all... My question to you all is: I have 3 days to prepare for phone interview with a VP. Despite being in Corp Dev, I have done zero modeling and focused mostly on strategy (Lean team, PE backed company w/o interest in expanding until the house is in order), that means that my accounting knowledge is shaky at best and my modeling is essentially nothing outside of a building a few three statement models.
Any help WSO's? What can I expect on a first interview and can I at least prepare myself enough in a couple days to make sure I can get to the next round and review all the essential material?
Thanks all.
