Interviewing for two different banking positions in the same bank.

I’m currently interviewing for two different positions (similar) in the same bank. Is this considered a red flag? Let’s say teams are fin-tech and tech, would it be a problem in the end and are these teams likely to find out. I’m planning on saying that I like the bank and would love to see myself at the firm in the long run.

Makes sense, I actually reached out to a banker for one role and I think I got the second through the portal? Would that be an issue - should I be upfront with them regarding the latter?

Like I said, it would be strange if the company didn't know about this. every HR portal I have used shows this information, I am a line manager myself and I can see what other roles they applied for or even looked at, bookmarked etc

Next time you speak to your HR contact person, just ask which role they are looking at for your application process. Do they have a preference or what are the odds of making it through, which role is more urgent, ..

Confidential areas are not visible to me, like residential address, age, race, gender, .. - but it is visible where they applied within the firm and even the interviews are in there.

I spoke to them and by the sounds of it I don’t think they have a clue about the situation since I’ve been speaking with the MD’s directly (no HR interaction) If I were to get an offer from both the teams would that be an issue? Would they pull back the offer and should I let them know?
