Have you built relationships/networked with people in banking? Are you cultivating those relationships? Then you'll have a shot. No? Then you won't. FT recruiting isn't about having the right stats and blindly applying. It comes down to showing you're passionate about this shit, are more than just a resume, and that you're smart/know your technicals.

Do something you're passionate about that has a skillset transferrable to the group you're trying to join.

Also, it's only Fall 2019 -- apply to MM shops or boutique banks. You'll be fine. If you don't land a spot in banking it's not the end of the world either.

As of right now I wouldn’t even say your shot at an SA for 2020 is over. There are still plenty of places I’ve seen on LinkedIn, handshake etc that are open for internships. Obviously no major place is still open but don’t throw in the towel yet man network like crazy and once you get your foot in the door prepare like your life depends on it and crush the opportunity
