Investment Banking Goals (LNDN)

I got a back paper in my sem 2 of 1st Year in my undergrad (non target) and I aiming for an MiF program in London (im from SE Asia). Is it over for me for my application process as well as investment banking or there's any hope still left?

What is a back paper

Basically in my second semester in 1st year of my undergraduate course (studying business administration) I got a back paper (I failed one paper which is my business statistics paper)

There are so many factors that come into play but London is very competitive. If you are doing a master it has to be a top target (Oxbridge, LSE, LBS, HEC, Bocconi, HSG) otherwise dont bother. Work experience also matters. Your competition has already likely 12 months of relevant internship experience and speak a European language.

tbh my first year got flunked cause family issues plus I wanted to change my colleges and therefore i skipped alot of my classes due to those colleges prep mid 1st year and boom everything got so tanked that i got to give a resit for business stats. My second year is going pretty well and im already giving my scores well but it's difficult for me to find IB internships cause there's limited IB internships in my country and if they are they wanted prior experience like financial modelling, excel, dcf modelling and even LBO modelling
