IPO instead of LBO for Hertz in 2005

Hey guys, I'm working on a final project that involves accessing the Hertz LBO in 2005. One of the project deliverables is to determine how much Ford would have raised if they took Hertz public instead of selling to the Carlyle group. Any suggestions on how to determine this? Thanks
