Is CNBC retarded?
Every time I watch it they have no idea what they're talking about, just shouting a bunch of BS about stocks. They place huge importance on single day moves, like half an hour spent "oh this useless index went up .5%". And their analysis is a total waste of time that any wannabe banker could pull out of his ass. Do people who work at banks agree with this sentiment or do you actually take heed in their retarded predictions?
I don't think you need to ask imo...you pretty much summed it up. Most places have it on MUTE.
If it wasn't for CNBC's Money Honeys, there's no way I'd get through the trading day:

CNBC's mission isn't to be right or even close to right about matters of finance. It's to get people to tune in, sell ad space and make money. If they find that the best, most effective way to do that is to be loud-mouthed, idiot blowhards all day long, then that's exactly what they'll do.
There's a reason why CNBC is on basic cable and Bloomberg is premium: the audiences.
oh snap!
Agreed. Bloomberg is much better than CNBC, although CNBC is quite interesting... Fast Money - a show where inarticulate, washed-up financiers blast their un-researched opinions and fight on air... Mad Money - A show where you get to see Cramer talk out of his ass about stocks that some intern researched for him. You also get to enjoy the throwing of objects, as well has his rather poorly tied ties.
If you want news, tune in Bloomberg, if you want entertainment, tune into CNBC
I agree CNBC sucks really bad. I did like to watch power lunch (Michelle's boobs are spectacular) but I cant stand that Tyler Mathisen guy that replaced Bill Griffith, he's a complete moron and asks the stupidest questions.
yeah, and they hire porn star quality broadcasters (caruso cabrera, burnett et al)...nice eye candy during a dreary trading day
Fox girls are better
haha I was watching CNBC today and the anchor was repeatedly asking "Bob" who was on the floor of the NYSE to give her an update. It took the people like 10 seconds to realize that the person on the floor was both a woman, and obviously not Bob- yet the anchor continued to refer to her as Bob multiple times after she said that she was filling in for Bob today....teleprompters ftw!
What's the sentiment on Fox Business? We don't have TV here and am rarely home to watch either CNBC or Fox Business.
They are extremely liberal and get a hard on for Obama and anything that his staff does.....
Has anyone seen the clip with John Stuart clip when he is on crossfire. I find it pretty funny.
Bloomberg is less retarded but it's sooo boring sometimes. ugly people too.
CNBC is the USA Today of News ... "The News You Can Not Use"
Amanda Drury is sexy

Images of all Women anchors on financial news stations!
Melissa Lee is quite a honey. That's one thing CNBC has going for it. Bloomberg also has a hot Hong Kong chick on sometimes. The hideous Singapore woman cancels her out, though.
