is ib anything like liar's poker anymore

- immediately pre-covid -

Don't mean to say I'm completely swept away after reading liar's poker, but how much of the pranks/culture and such told by Michael Lewis still exist within IBD today (okay I know it was the trading floor but I want to pursue m&a)?

Or is the extent really just the office banter

this basically answered my Q

Came to throw midgets on dartboards, instead, I'm stuck at home, haven't showered in 2 days, and fighting the urge to end it all.

Do pranks to any extent of which displayed in Liar's Poker still exist within an investment bank (S&T and/or M&A).

I know the book has nothing to do with ibd but I just wrote it because I want to join ibd. Obviously the atmosphere is completely different between the trading floor and ibd
