Is IB worth it?
Ok, so at this point I am confident that I will get into IU Kelley and UMich, but not Ross. The amount of time and effort I will need to put forth to get into the IBW, let alone get a decent IB job is going to be absurd. This seems like an astronomical amount of effort and I feel like the amount of time I will be putting into this, (not to mention I’ll have 0 social life in freshman year), could be better spent in another field of work where I could see comparable, if not better salaries.
My dude is making IBW sound more exclusive than GS TMT
Focus on being normal. That will help you out more than being obsessed about a career that you are clearly blindly choosing. You are not even in college, why are you so obsessed with IB when you haven’t even explore anything else. No one likes a hardo. people like normal people.
