Is it too soon to accept defeat and apply to different positions outside of IB?
I know this year is “unique” for hiring and internship timelines but.. as a recent transfer from CompSci at a non-target (NYC), I’ve found no luck in my 40+ IB/Trading applications, 1/4 have emailed saying it’s a no.
Is it too soon to call it quits on IB internships this year and start applying to anything remotely related to help score a position next year? Or do firms hire thru the spring semester?
