Is it unprofessional to wear over the head headphone during work?
I'm planning to buy a Sony Wh-1000 over the head headphone for noise cancelling use in office. Does seniors hate analyst wearing over the head? Should I get earplug instead?
Any seniors here? Im an analyst 1 at a US bank.

You'll get the occasional snidey comment from a senior if your experience is anything like mine, but at the end of the day nobody really cares if you're just crunching out work and need to be able to focus for a bit.
Side note really recommend the Sony's, got a pair and they're sensational.
One senior in the team complains, every junior wears it anyway when needing to work. You probably will not use it much in the first 3-6 months as you are going to be asking a lot of questions / want to hear what is being talked about in the bullpe.. I suggest earbuds where you can keep one ear free to hear when you are being addressed in the beginning.
