Is it worth getting masters for IB? Does it increase your understanding of the sector? Do you get training going into IB?
Specifically if you already got Bsc Finance and thinking of doing a CFA.
What the preferred/typical route into IB?
MBA? CFA? MSc Economics? MSc Finance? BSc Economics? BSc Finance?
If you did an undergrad in finance and have started studying for the CFA, you won’t learn much more from an MSF. However, if you come from a nontarget, a decent MSF can be an opportunity to rebrand and break in.
If you want IB, the CFA may not be as helpful. Finance > econ masters.
