Is Morgan Stanley hiring international students as of 2019?

Read somewhere on WSO that MS has stopped extending offers to international students in the past few years. It would be great if someone at the firm could confirm whether this is still true/if it is true for particular roles.

I happen to know an international student who interned at MS last year in a strats-type role, not sure if they got FT.

Clarity on this would help me with associated decisions around who to reach out to for networking.

Apparently so. Often banks don't sponsor undergrads but sponsor laterals, but here there are way too many data points to all be laterals. Then again, not sure if they're all IBD analysts, e.g. like you said, strats would be different. Firms are most strict with IBD, anything outside of that I believe there is usually still some leeway for international students, especially more quant-type roles.

can confirm that many international students from my west coast semi-target secured SA and FT offers over the past few years
